Compared with rubber hoses, stainless steel corrugated hoses have the following advantages:
Anti-aging. Rubber will become brittle, hardened, cracked, cracked and other aging phenomena under natural conditions, but stainless steel will not.
High temperature resistance. The rubber hose is not resistant to high temperature, it will soften and catch fire under the flame. The stainless steel pipe body of the stainless steel corrugated hose can withstand high temperature, and the flame roasting will only affect the PVC protective layer outside.
Anti-drop. The rubber hose will not fall naturally after the clamp is installed, but it cannot ensure safety under unexpected conditions such as aging, shortening, and external force pulling. Stainless steel corrugated hoses are usually connected by threaded threads, which can be pulled by an adult to prevent accidental falling.
Anti-rat bite. Rubber hoses are not resistant to rat bites, but usually animal teeth can't help the stainless steel tube of the stainless steel corrugated hose.
Long life. The service life of the rubber hose is 18 months, that is, one and a half years, while the service life of the stainless steel corrugated hose is 8 years, and the calculation is more and more inexpensive.
Preservative. Rubber hoses are classified as organic materials and are not resistant to oil, while stainless steel corrugated hoses are made of austenitic stainless steel, which can withstand common corrosive liquids, and the coated PVC protective layer also has a certain anti-corrosion effect.
Of course, the use of stainless steel hoses is not completely sure, and it can be careless. Back and forth disturbance may cause metal fatigue or air leakage at the threaded interface, so the stainless steel corrugated hose should not be too long. If it exceeds 1.5m, it needs to be fixed. After being mechanically injured by an external force, we can't tell with the naked eye whether there is a crack or a stress concentration, so it must be replaced.
